"That Day: The Fall of Shiganshina, Part 2" (Eps. 2)

Thoughts:  I was honestly very eager to see this episode as I wanted to see the story continue....

Noticing the city going into chaos as people helplessly are picked up from the streets like ants and eaten, while other citizens, lucky enough to escape far from the carnage as homes are destroyed, debris is scattered across the sky, becoming projectiles to unfortunate souls, was A maddening scene to witness.

Hannes, apologizes to Eren for being afraid of the Titans.

As the refugees who are able to get to the boats, while other citizens out of sheer bad luck are left stranded, as well as the young soldiers who are forced to fight something they simply cannot kill nor injure, made me realize the true nature of how disturbing and horrifying the ordeal truly was.

Eren, now A refugee is beaten by the soldiers of Wall Rosé.
Conclusion:I'd admit my initial feelings of some of these fortunate refugees, being as broken as they were, I believed that some great hope and healing would come after the hellish situation they survived, in other words, "All would be well". The problems that Eren and his friends faced in their new home was shocking, yet expected.
My final thought on this episode was the fact that these people wished to fight and protect what little they had left, but also give some closure to their pasts as well as ensure A prosperous future, was only the beginning of the hope and healing process as I realized.
